On tap for international conference

Experiential agency VWV has been appointed by US-based MillerCoors to produce its first annual distributor conference at the Las Vegas Rio Hotel and Convention Centre in March 2009.

MillerCoors is the result of a merger between the Miller Brewing Company and MolsonCoors, which has reportedly created the second largest brewer in America.

VWV has produced this event for five consecutive years for Miller since 2004, when SAB acquired Miller Brewing, changing its name to SABMiller. This year, because of the merger, VWV was forced into a pitch with its equivalent on the Coors side, C2, winning in terms of creativity, budget, and understanding of the brief.

“This is likely to be the single biggest project VWV undertakes this year,” comments Mark Steinhobel, chairperson of VWV.
