Private property expands into print
Private Property Listings (PPL), South Africa's property website and commission-free real-estate service, has stepped over into print with the launch this month of their new Private Property magazine. The 112 page launch edition showcases more than 800 properties that are for sale privately by the owners, and includes some full page development advertisements, as well as tips and articles written by property experts.
Private Property claims that buyers and sellers of property would prefer transacting without the intervention of a traditional estate agent. Its move into print is to provide a wide selection of their client's properties from their database to those that don't have access to the internet, or who prefer the convenience of browsing an easy to read magazine.
"The Magazine will increase our volume of successful sales and word of mouth is where our strongest growth comes from. The website has made it possible to create a leading national directory of available properties," says CEO Justinus Adriaanse. "We have the stock already, with details and photos, and we have already been paid by clients to advertise the properties for sale, so selling a magazine filled with content is really an enhancement of our service offering."
The monthly magazine is to be distributed by JMD .and will be available through newsagents including CNA at a price of R15 a copy.
