New gay magazine
Alice, described as a gay girl's glossy magazine, launched as a monthly title from April 2011. Published by Lunchbox Media Sorted A&Di, it offers a 100-page magazine as an opportunity for well-established lifestyle, health, beauty and fashion brands to align themselves with a market described as early adopters, through a claimed circulation of 10 000.
Its development on various multimedia platforms will not only enhance its accessibility but also create an added sense of belonging for readers.
The editorial content offers a combination of intellect, real-life adventure and fun and offers contributing writers such as Lauren Fitchet, Beverli Rhodes, Delene van Dyk, Natalie Victor and Lizelle Jacobs, who share their respective stories and opinions about real-life, sex, relationships, Tinsel town and coming out the closet.
