Weg!/go! confirms Louw as editor
It was announced yesterday, Thursday 24 June, that Barnie Louw, who has been acting editor since early April 2010, has been appointed as the editor of Weg!/go!, an outdoor and travel magazine with a circulation of 89 161 (ABC January-March 2010).

For the past five years, Louw has played a key role in the group,as respectively the supplements editor of Weg, deputy editor of Weg!/go! , founding editor of WegSleep and editor of WegRy/Drive Out. Before that, he was a member of Die Burger's editorial team in the Western and Eastern Cape, as education reporter, provincial reporter, a member of the parliamentary editorial team, chief reporter and news editor.
"It is an amazing honour and also a great challenge to take the lead on a success story such as Weg!/go! " said Louw. "In many respects it is like moving into someone else's house, but fortunately this house has a rock solid foundation with no leaks in the roof. And the very capable team that helped to build it, remains".
