A chance for young chefs to cook up a storm
National Geographic Kids has launched the NG Kids Young Chefs Competition, which is sponsored by Panarottis Pizza Pasta Restaurants, and hopes to get youngsters sending in their favourite recipes, the magazine announced yesterday, Wednesday, 15 July 2009.
Sponsored prizes include vouchers and kitchen tools from Yuppiechef, kitchen appliances from Kenwood and a copy of Fiona Hamilton-Fairley's book Little Cooks. The winning recipes will be published in the December issue of the magazine.
Said editor, Fiona Thomson: “Many of our readers enjoy creating their own dishes. NG Kids would like to act as a platform for aspiring young chefs to share and show off their culinary skills.”
