More power for fast car enthusiasts

The first of Media24's all new automotive titles, Max Power will give South Africa's aftermarket modification industry a magazine in which to showcase its creations worldwide. To be edited by Ashfaaq Bux, the 200-plus page launch edition will hit the shelves countrywide on 26 July 2006.

According to Bux, the magazine will offer SA readers the best of international and local content between two covers. "In fact, we will be bringing local readers a world class magazine that is Proudly South African," he says.

Max Power is more than just a magazine about cars, says the publishers. It's about lifestyle, attitude and having a blast with your car. Needless to say, fast cars and beautiful women will be plentiful in the launch edition, which will also sport the latest gadgets and toys. The cover story is on the 400kW M3 but, if speed is not your thing and you're more of a bass junkie, there's always the ICE'd Renault Megane.

The first edition will also give you the low down on who, what and how in Drifting 101. The Hardcore Tuning guide will include tips and tricks from the best overseas tuners.

Max Powerwill retail at R25.95.
