Chubb launches Travel Smart app for business travellers

A recent study showed that 87% of travellers have travel safety concerns, with crime, health and terrorism as the greatest travelling threats. For risk managers and human resources teams, Chubb Travel Smart provides an online dashboard for an instant and complete summary of travelling employees, including their location and whether they are in any high-risk areas.

The app also provides a handy smartphone app for employees which is integrated with country-specific advice and includes recommended vaccinations, cultural do’s and don’ts and visa/passport requirements, among others.

In addition, it allows travellers to receive messages from their employer by email or SMS directly to their smartphone. This is particularly handy during a crisis situation where fast and reliable communication is essential. However, the most powerful feature of the app is its push notifications that get sent to the traveller’s home screen notifying them of risks near their location.
