SETE 2016 Awards winners announced
The inaugural Sports & Events Tourism Awards, an initiative launched alongside the annual SETE 2016 conference, took place on 26 October 2016 in the City of Tshwane.
Entries were submitted by host cities, event owners and sponsors, and submissions included impact assessment reports. An evaluation panel made up of event tourism experts and national government institutions adjudicated each submission and a shortlist of the nominees were invited to the Awards Dinner.
