New Global Manager of Communications for SA Tourism
South African Tourism has appointed Risuna Mayimele as the new Global Manager of Communications effective 2 May 2014.

Prior to joining SA Tourism, Mayimele has most recently worked as a marketing manager for SABC3, where she headed up marketing and communications for the channel which was also voted the best TV channel in the Star Readers' Choice Awards under her marketing tenure.
Her career spans over 13 years, as a marketing communications practitioner. She has years of experience in marketing research and strategic planning in the advertising and media industry. She has worked in leading global advertising agencies in the area of strategic planning, both in South Africa and outside the country, including Nigeria and Ghana.
"South African Tourism welcomes Ms Mayimele to her new position. With her expertise, extensive knowledge and experience in media, we are confident that she is best suited to take over this challenging but rewarding position. We know she will be more than capable of enhancing our organisation's global communication strategy," says Janine Hutton, chief marketing officer of SA Tourism.
