Mabuza believes that the lack of young professionals in the travel industry is a challenge. He further believes that many students who have studied travel at tertiary institutions lack the practical experience required to fulfil professional roles. "If agencies offer annual internships to train students, this issue can be rectified."
To address this, MuziNdoda Travel is working on introducing a learnership programme in 2014, in line with SATC's Learnership Programme, which collaborates with franchisees in an effort to assist unemployed youths enter the job market.
