Judge Albie Sachs to deliver keynote address at Trialogue Business in Society Conference 2019

Trialogue, a consultancy that focuses on corporate responsibility issues, is pleased to announce Judge Albie Sachs as the keynote speaker at its upcoming Business in Society Conference, which will take place at The Wanderers Club in Johannesburg on 16 and 17 April 2019. The former judge on the Constitutional Court of South Africa played a pivotal role in authoring our Constitution and continues to ensure the realisation of its ideals of human rights, freedom, dignity and equality. Delegates will have the unique opportunity to reflect with and draw inspiration from this social justice activist.

Key conference themes: Collaboration in education and innovative finance

The conference will feature four key themes. The collaboration in education theme sets out to underscore the importance, address the barriers and provide practical tips and implementation tools for how corporate, government and the non-profit sector can work together to realise equitable access to quality education in South Africa. Innovative finance for development impact will explore the variety of models which can be used to fund multistakeholder approaches to address a range of socioeconomic challenges. Other themes will be announced soon.

Join the conversation with more than 400 development stakeholders

The event attracts more than 400 delegates from the corporate, non-profit, government, media and academic sectors to share insight and find ways to collaborate across sectors, to contribute to increased, equitable and lasting socioeconomic development.

Delegates can look forward to hearing from more than 50 expert speakers, the option of participating in a range of more than 20 interactive sessions, visiting 13 exhibition stands and deep-diving into four key developmental themes. Ninety-eight percent of delegates rated last year’s conference ‘excellent’ or ‘very good’ overall.
