Festival to celebrate Elim

The wine tasting runs from 10am to 5pm and the cycle and trail run entries begin from 6am, with races start from 7.30-8.30am.

Africa's southernmost winery in one of the region's most historic locations, Strandveld Vineyards will display its wines alongside Elim peers Ghost Corner, Lands End, The Berrio, The Giant Periwinkle, Black Oyster Catcher and Zoetendal, offering wine lovers a wide selection of wines to taste and enjoy.

With local produce and live music from the Zwelihle Marimba band, the line-up of activities includes a demonstration of sheepdogs herding sheep, a mounted archery performance and guided tours to the Nuwejaars Wetland Protected Environment buffaloes at the boma.
