Montecasino hosts wine festival

Visitors will have the opportunity to meet the winemakers, taste their top-end wines and learn about the latest trends in winemaking. Included in the price of the ticket (R150) is unlimited wine tasting, a cheese platter, plus a R100 voucher redeemable on any wine purchased on the evening.

Wade Bales, with a list of more than 10 000 private clients, is described as one of the country's most successful wine merchants. "At this year's festival, we also look forward to introducing the wines of a few exciting 'rising stars' such as Creation and Ataraxia wine estates," says Bales.

To add to the festival, it also offers the opportunity of sampling the Glenfiddich single malt whisky, Fairview cheeses and speciality coffees.
