Start polishing glasses for Mpumalanga Wine Show
As in previous years, the exhibitor line-up will highlight some of the Cape's best producers. Attracting 1200 visitors over the two days, the 2013 show included estates such as De Grendel, Delaire Graff, Hamilton Russell, Krone, Rijk's, Quoin Rock and Vrede en Lust. The 2014 show will be also present established award winners and lesser-known discoveries.
Directed by wine authority Michael Fridjhon and organised by Johannesburg-based OutSorceress Marketing, the wine show supports the White River chapter of Rotary International as a contribution to the local community.
Tickets to the show are available via Computicket, Money Market counters in Shoprite Checkers stores, Tops The Grove, Tops White River, Crossing SuperSpar and at the door at a cost of R130, which includes unlimited tastings and wine tasting glass.
This wine show is part of a trio of events that comprise the FNB Regional Wine Show Programme. The FNB Limpopo Wine Show, now in its eighth year, takes place in Polokwane on 24 and 25 July 2014 followed by the second FNB Free State Wine Show in Bloemfontein on 31 July and 1 August. Proceeds to Rotary International, raised through ticket sales and wine donations via all three regional wine shows, exceeded R100 000 in 2013.
