General Mills South Africa is voluntarily recalling two production batches of Pillsbury Lemon Poppyseed Muffin Mix (Extra 20% Free) because they may contain nuts, an allergen not listed on the ingredient label.

This voluntary recall includes only Lemon Poppyseed Muffin Mix (Extra 20% Free) with the following product codes and sell-dates:

Sell by 14 Sep 2011

Sell by 15 Sep 2011

The voluntary recall does not affect Pillsbury Lemon Poppyseed Muffin Mix with other product codes, and no other Pillsbury mixes or General Mills products are involved.

Retailers have been requested to immediately remove the two specific date codes of this product from store shelves. Consumers who have Pillsbury Lemon Poppyseed Muffin Mix with one of these two date codes should return the product to the place of purchase for a full refund, or call the consumer toll free line at 0800-116-766.
