Walk 'n talk with the PRO 9400 series office headsets
Designed for businesses looking to make a smooth transition to Unified Communications (UC) in mind, the new PRO Series model is designed to make handling calls from multiple hard and softphones easier than ever as it is optimised for all leading suppliers of UC and softphones.
"As more organisations come to realise the true value that Unified Communications has to offer their business, the Jabra PRO 9450 is an ideal product for making the transition to combine deskphones and UC softphones," says Scott Corry, business unit manager of Jabra at Kathea. "This user-friendly device eliminates the stresses that are sometimes associated with making the switch to Unified Communications and offers superior sound quality thanks to state-of-the-art audio technology."
Versatility, mobility
The Jabra PRO 9450 allows users to answer calls in four different ways: when away from their desks by using the headset; at their desks by pressing a button on the headset base touch pad display; using Jabra Call Manager software; or using computer keyboard shortcuts. A noise-cancelling microphone is designed to ensure that the user's voice is heard clearly, and wideband audio makes incoming calls sound crystal clear. Moreover, with a range of up to 150m, the Jabra PRO 9450 boasts flexibility and mobility in the office space, which promotes a heightened productive and un-tethered work style.
"Microsoft is dedicated to supporting the launch of Lync optimised products, providing a wide range of solutions for customers adopting Unified Communications platforms," said Tracy Bolton, who heads the Information Worker division at Microsoft SA. "The Jabra PRO 9450 is another example of Jabra developing higher quality audio solutions that are simpler to install, easier to use and targeted at the needs of our mutual customers."
Additionally, Technology Marketing Corporation (TMC), the world's largest communications and technology community recently named the Jabra PRO 9470 as a 2011 TMC Labs Innovation Award winner presented by its publication, Internet Telephony. The Jabra PRO 9450 incorporates many of the Jabra PRO 9470's award-winning features.
