First store for Durban “fashion darling”

The Durban couturier and fashion darling, Haroun Hansrot, is preparing to open his first signature store, “75”. As well as his own range, Hansrot will be showcasing the garments of well-known and up-and-coming Indian designers.

“I'm really excited about the opening of '75',” said Hansrot. “I have been planning to open my own place for a long time and when I met the ‘Celebrity Locker' team, I just knew that the time was right.”

Joining Hansrot in his new venture are businessman Hemant Thacker, well-known TV personality and model, Rakshanda Khan and creative entrepreneur, Kedhar Gawde, from “Celebrity Locker”, a concept bank and brand-building event company, based in India. Local businessman KwaZulu-Natal director of the Fashion TV (FTV) brand, Nico Sofila and Haroun Hansrot are the Durban partners.

Fusion of Indian and Western

“This collection is a perfect fusion of Indian and Western silhouettes,” Hansrot said. “We have Indian and Western styles and ready-to-wear and couture collections. The beauty of “75” is that there is something to suit everyone and every pocket as well. Anybody can enjoy the exclusivity of having a designer-crafted outfit, at an affordable price.”

According to Hanrot, the “75 Experience” promises to be “an event in itself - from the time you walk into the shop, until the time you walk out with your outfit, tailored to fit you perfectly.” In addition, clients can have alterations, modifications and embroidering services done on site.
