A third space for 2nd Take

For the last five years, 2nd Take has established itself as excellent shopping alternative for second-hand designer wear with boutique stores in Sea Point and Philippi and an online store. The opening of its new branch in Rondebosch in Cape Town comes from the high demand for branded clothing in this area.
A third space for 2nd Take

2nd Take occupies a niche in the apparel market, stocking top quality, second-hand international designer clothes from Armani to Zara, for women, men and kids. Lee Oliver, sales assistant in Sea Point says, "Most of our customers turn into loyal shoppers, as they enjoy the choice of clothing and variety of brands, often not available anywhere else in South Africa. They also like the high quality of the fabrics used in the garments."

Franchise opportunity

"We receive requests on a daily basis to open more stores in South Africa. Our store concept is now available as franchise opportunity, nationwide and we should see a number of stores opening in the country soon. Quality second-hand stores are a big hit with fashion and environmental conscious students and we are sure the store will be enjoyed by UCT students as well as their parents," says Bettina Berlep, owner and founder of 2nd Take.
