    It's Orange Ink for Ericsson South Africa

    Ericsson South Africa, the telecommunications provider for fixed and mobile network sectors, has appointed Orange Ink Public Relations as of 1 May 2009, it was announced yesterday, Monday 4 May.

    "We are exceptionally proud to be associated with Ericsson and look forward to enhancing the company's expertise and leadership within sub-Saharan Africa. Our core role will be to manage and enhance Ericsson's media relations and support their internal communications," said Meggan Liebenberg, director of Orange Ink.

    Annabel Cele, manager of external communications at Ericsson, added, "Communicating in a consistent, targeted and transparent manner is not only imperative to enhancing our brand, but must be undertaken in line with our existing core values of respect, professionalism and perseverance, and brand identity. Orange Ink was chosen as our public relations partner as a result of the organisation's expertise in the ICT sector, as well as their proven track record in media and internal communications management."

    "We look forward to building a long, sustainable working relationship, defined by successful communications implementation," concludes Liebenberg.
