First Lucky Star winner

Nurse Thingahangwi Mudau of Thohoyandou won the first R100 000 prize purchasing her lucky tin from the Spar in Thohoyandou in August 2010. Having studied auxiliary nursing for 18 months before having to give up the course due to financial restraints, she is registering again at the institution near Polokwane for the three-year course, thanks to her lucky win.

"She is just the first winner in this competition. We have another four R100 000 prizes, plus loads of R1000 prizes still to give away. All Lucky Star fans should check under the lid of their tins to see if they are the next lucky winner," said John Stephenson, marketing manager of Lucky Star.
