After a green & gold triumph, it's a yellow summer
Rock, Shop and Recover is a consumer competition in which entrants stand to win an all expenses paid trip to Paris, Milan and Monaco. The prize will include R40 000 spending money, so if the winner doesn't really enjoy the trip, well… Entrants simply SMS, MMS or upload their favourite summer memories to the "Make This a Summer to Remember" website.
And if cricket is your game, then the group is again sponsoring the summer ODIs, which begin on 25 November 2007. The three-match series against New Zealand starts in Durban on 25 November, moves to Port Elizabeth on 30 November and culminates with the final in Cape Town on 2 December.
But if summer without soccer is simply unimaginable, the group will help fans make the most of the hot season - with hot soccer.
For those for whom summer is synonymous with sound, the group's "Boomwhacker" is destined to give the vuvuzela a run for its money, and there will also be live concerts in East London, Nelspruit, Cape Town and Durban, with the Afrikaans Varing Fees music festival in Cape Town and the kwaito concerts planned for Nelspruit and East London.
And finally, if shopping gives meaning to your life, malls all over South Africa will be sporting yellow this summer with fun demonstrations and product giveaways.
