Playboy and Playgirl deodorants voted the 'coolest'
Playboy and Playgirl are the coolest male and female deodorants in the country according to the annual Sunday Times Generation Next Survey Awards. The HDI Youth Marketers-run survey recognises South Africa's best and 'coolest' brands - including products and celebrities - as voted for by 5,400 young people between the ages of eight and 23.
"It's a fantastic vindication of the work we're doing on the brand to be awarded this prestigious accolade," said Irfaan Ameer, Brand Manager of Playgirl and Playboy. "We're working on bringing even 'cooler' scents to the market and plan on keeping South Africa's youths smelling and feeling great."
The Playboy and Playgirl deodorant brands have both experienced phenomenal growth over the past 12 months and Ameer said that the two latest fragrances from the brands have followed suit. Playboy's London Knights, which has been inspired by trends in the fine fragrance arena, was launched in 2014. Playgirl Desire has just been launched.
