This is according to Pick n Pay's report for the financial year ending April. Pick n Pay joins fellow retail chains Shoprite and Spar in Mozambique. Shoprite has an established presence in Mozambique, while Spar is still a relative newcomer and 'lightweight' in the market.
Pick n Pay already has stores in Namibia, Botswana, Swaziland, Lesotho and Zambia, and plans to open two stores in Mauritius in 2011.
