    Inside view of franchising

The International Franchise & Entrepreneurs Expo (IFE) 2008 opens its doors from 8 - 10 May at the Sandton Convention Centre, Gauteng, from 10am to 6pm daily.
    Inside view of franchising

Visitors to IFE 2008 can expect to see a wealth of business and franchise opportunities - from the million rand franchises to the man-in-the-van concepts. Taking prime positions at IFE 2008 will be all the FASA franchise members who will be clearly identified with Franchise Association of Southern Africa (FASA) logos on their stands.

Besides the full-on turnkey franchises on offer, the expo also looks at offering general business opportunities to those with less capital to spend. These are the franchise opportunities that will help counteract unemployment and encourage the ordinary man in the street to become self-employed. Opportunities range from fast food vendor carts to handyman services; from cleaning to computer services. Many such businesses will be exhibiting at IFE and all offer very exciting and profitable opportunities.

More importantly, the many banks, funding institutions, consultants and franchise lawyers will also be on hand to give expert advice on how to get financing, run a business and be successful.

IFE 2008, in conjunction with Succeed magazine and Standard Bank will be holding a Speakers Corner with a range of talks aimed at helping the visitor decide on their future business success - from motivational speakers to financial advice; from talks on how to evaluate a franchise to presentations by franchisors.
