Floyd's gets Cross

Agency Cross Colours has been elected to partner Floyd's Barbershop with its entry into the South African market and is handling all the design and advertising on the account.

An American concept, Floyd's Barbershop has just opened its first shop outside of the US – at Fourways Crossing in Johannesburg.

Kevin MacKenzie, co-owner of the hair-styling franchise in South Africa comments:  “We did a lot of investigation to find the right agency to work with us on this new venture.  We wanted a company with an exceptional creative product, the right understanding of the brand and people with whom we could build strong relationships.  The fit was exactly right with Cross Colours.”

Already, the agency has designed and developed the marketing collateral for the hair-styling franchise and has implemented a viral campaign that has put a smile on many faces.

The agency will also work with the franchise with their expansion into other markets – the UK and potentially, Australia.

The shop boasts top stylists, a full range of hair solutions for men and women, a flexible booking system, internet consoles, Sony Play station, a unique and very edgy décor style, wash basins at each workstation and a massage treatment with each visit.
