The awards specifically honour those companies driving the innovative use of its film in construction, application and look across BOPP film in product packaging and labelling.

Gold, Silver and Bronze Roll awards were awarded across various categories, with the Golden Clip Award being the overall prestigious prize.

Nampak Flexible won the Golden Clip award for its Simba Sunbites pretzels packaging, a matt and gloss printed pack, produced through a single gravure process. Through the clever combination of print techniques, the pack was given funky, exciting three-dimensional effect graphics that have extended the brand into a younger target market. It also won a Gold Roll award in the ClearFlex/MetFlex category for clear film laminated to metalised film.
