Countdown to Elite Model Look SA
The first Elite Model Look South Africa competition will announce its winner on 23 September 2009 at the Forum | Turbine Hall Newtown, Johannesburg. The 20 finalists, chosen from among 264 candidates across the country, will be presented in a live fashion show where they will display some of the major South African brands, highlighting South Africa's top designers and contest sponsors.
The competition seeks new faces to represent South Africa in China at the 26th Elite Model Look World final on 18 October 2009 in the Beauty Crowne Theatre of Sanya, located on the island of Hainan China.
The competition represents a real opportunity for the winners to launch their career as established models. Some of the world's most photographed and well-known faces such as Coco Rocha, Alessandra Ambrosio, Sigrid Agren, Teyona Anderson, Emma Booth, Monica Bellucci and Adriana Lima have emerged from this contest over the years.
