Survey launch to assess security risks to women in media

The International Women's Media Foundation and the International News Safety Institute have launched a survey to assess the security risks that women journalists face in their work.

This is the first ever effort to collect data about challenges for women journalists on a global scale: we will use the findings to raise awareness about unique threats to women in media and to shape our programming to better prepare women to report the news.

We call on you to fill out the survey, please; it will take 15 minutes of your time and will make a huge difference in the validity of our results. The more people we hear from, the better able we will be to measure the real threats that you, as working journalists, encounter.

A link to the survey is here: is your link to the survey.

Please share the link with women journalists in your network.

We want your voice to be heard!
