Zapiro cartoon 'appals' SACP

SACP spokesperson Malesela Maleka is reported as saying the controversial cartoon of an erect penis complete with showerhead "is indeed B-grade schoolboy lavatory stuff, unworthy of a once talented cartoonist and unworthy of a newspaper that pretends to be serious."
  
• Mail & Guardian: Zapiro defends cartoon, while ANC call for apology... Zapiro reckons change needs "dissident views" while the ANC's Jimmy Manyi is miffed and says the cartoon (which includes a limerick) must be removed from the Mail & Guardian website.

  The ANC probably isn't too keen on the limerick either, so we've offered an alternative...
