New titles for Mafube

Mafube Publishing, publisher of Enterprise and Sawubona magazines, has landed the publishing contracts for two travel magazine brands: By the Way and The Essence of Africa.

By the Way, the official road and lifestyle magazine of the South African National Roads Agency Limited (SANRAL) is a free quarterly distributed at tollgate plazas, service station stops, convenience stores and news agents.

The 100-page publication aims to increase the enjoyment of travel on South Africa's roads and to create a two-way communication channel between SANRAL and road users.

The Regional Tourism Organisation of South Africa (RETOSA) magazine, The Essence of Africa, is a 228 page annual publication with an initial print run of 150 000 copies.

It is also a free publication and is distributed to the official tourism bodies of southern African countries, international tourism organizations in Europe, the East and the USA and through international tourism exhibitions and conferences.

Thami Mazwai says: "These new titles firmly entrench Mafube as a major travel and tourism publisher in South Africa. They are in line with Mafube's determination to make a difference to the economic opportunities available to all South Africans so that we move together towards a better life."
