Bruce Cameron claims 'Words on Money' award

Bruce Cameron, editor of Independent Newspapers' title Personal Finance, is the first business and investment writer to win the Citadel 'Words on Money' journalism award a second time.

The award was established by financial services company Citadel in 1999 to award and encourage excellent writing about investment matters and issues related to personal finance.

The award has attracted entries from the best known names in financial reporting since its inception and continues to grow each year as more publications and media include editorial and reporting about personal financial affairs.

The judges for the 2005 award were: Hennie Janse van Rensburg, retired Business Executive; Solly Keetse, Senior Legal Adviser (Retail) at Old Mutual; Sakkie van der Merwe, CEO Financial Planning Institute; and Andrew Campbell, CEO, Brait Specialized Funds and Deputy President of the Alternative Investment Management Association.
