SABC board: GCEO not suspended

The SABC earlier today, Wednesday, 25 August 2010, released a statement pointing out that group CEO Solly Mokoetle has not been suspended but that the SABC board has asked him to provide reasons that he should not be.

SABC board: GCEO not suspended

SABC board chairperson Ben Ngubane, who "has noted with regret the false media reports", would like to put it on record that Mokoetle has not been suspended but is expected to submit his response to the board.

After considering his response, the board will then respond and communicate accordingly.
