Visual Bridge will form an integral part of Citigate Cape Town, providing design and production to augment Citigate's existing advertising, design, public relations and investor relations services. Visual Bridge management and staff remain unchanged and the company will operate as Citigate Visualbridge.
The two companies' client bases complement each other and include, among others, Sanlam, Shoprite Holdings, MediClinic, Pioneer Foods, KWV, Capespan, WPK, Van Schaik Bookstores, Seardel, Coega Development Corporation, SAD Foods, Investec, Coronation, Woolworths Financial Services and Allan Gray.
Citigate's holding company, Incepta Group plc is listed on the London Stock Exchange and has more than 65 offices worldwide. In South Africa, it operates in Johannesburg, Cape Town and Durban.
Visual Bridge Managing Director, Deon Erasmus said "The merger provides us with new and exciting opportunities and enables us to offer our existing and future clients a fully integrated service from both the local and international perspective".
Adrian Horner, Managing Director of Citigate South Africa welcomed Visualbridge to the group saying that "it will add both design and production resources to our Cape Town operation together with an intimate knowledge of the requirements of the Western Cape market."
