Finance Week celebrates a milestone year
This year Finance Week, owned by Media24, is proudly celebrating its 25th birthday - a significant milestone in publishing - with lunch with Trevor Manuel, Minister of Finance.
Finance Week has witnessed the many changes that have occurred in South Africa over the last quarter of a century, making it an invaluable reference for the business community and the broader public.
According to the publishers, its strength has been its editorial content, and its ability to be a business partner, financial advisor and trusted informer to its readers. The measure of its success has been the unmatched number of awards that Finance Week journalists have earned over the years.
Finance Week is marking this "silver anniversary" tradition in publishing in fine style, with an event on the 22 July at the Johannesburg Country Club, which will be attended by some of the country's top business leaders, and the guest speaker, Minister of Finance Trevor Manuel.
Finance Week's longevity in a competitive environment since 1979 will ensure that it will be around to collect a "gold" in 2024, said the publishers in a statement.
