Mpofu payout: union blames board

NEWSWATCH: Cosatu says that the former SABC board is to blame for the size of Mpofu's payout and his costly legal fees, which the broadcaster is to meet, reports My Broadband. Meanwhile, the African National Congress has lodged a complaint with the press ombudsman over articles that appeared in the Sunday Times and the City Press, reports IOL. The complaint has apparently "surprised and perplexed" the latter newspaper's editor, Ferial Haffajee.
