Mpofu gets the chop from SABC board
BREAKING NEWS: Following a SABC board meeting earlier this week, a decision has been taken “to part ways” with suspended group CEO Dali Mpofu with immediate effect. This is according to a press statement released this morning, Friday, 23 January 2009, by SABC Group Communications.
According to the concise statement: “Following a SABC Board meeting on Tuesday 20 January 2009, the corporation is announcing that the Board has taken a decision to part ways with suspended Group Chief Executive Officer Adv. Dali Mpofu with immediate effect.”
Meanwhile, as expected, Mpofu is determined to fight back, according to various media reports.
