Press ombudsman hiring, Qwelane heading for court

NEWSWATCH: The office of the South African Press Ombudsman will be hiring a deputy press ombudsman and a case officer, reports Journalism.co.za, and Sunday Sun columnist Jon Qwelane will shortly be appearing before the Equality Court in connection with the alleged homophobic column written earlier this year, according to various media sources.
