Deadline looms for Vodacom Journalist of the Year
The final day for submission of entries for the seventh annual Vodacom Journalist of the Year Awards is Wednesday, 18 July 2007. The competition is open to all South African journalists who have had their material published or broadcast between 1 May 2006 and 30 April 2007.
National winners will receive cash prizes of R10 000 and a certificate. The journalist whose work merits the Journalist of the Year Award will receive the grand prize of R100 000.
Entries in the Photography category may be submitted in a disc format. Print entries may be submitted in any paper size format, whether A4 or larger.
The regional and national judges consist of well-recognised, independent professionals.
