Deadline looms for fashion journalism awards

The fashion writing prize will be based on a report or feature that covers a specific fashion event, personality, trend or business element in a particularly newsworthy, insightful and interesting way and with depth of understanding of the industry.

The prize for fashion editing will consider the balance between consumer information on a fashion trend or item and the ability to communicate the inspiration behind the creation.

All material for consideration for this year's awards must have been published between 1 July 2006 and 30 June 2007. Each category winner will receive a substantial cash reward and an opportunity to visit Paris to coincide with Paris Fashion Week 2008 to the value of R25 000 each.
