  Times Lives reports that "perhaps the most shocking of the fake academic claims this year was the revelation that struggle veteran Pallo Jordan, one of the ANC's most respected intellectuals, had lied about holding a PhD.

  "For more than three decades, Jordan was regarded abroad and in South Africa as one of the country's best political brains, with a doctorate from the London School of Economics."

  Then an investigation by the Sunday Times led to Jordan being exposed as a fraud... That exposure was shocking, but the latest... that of SABC Ellen Tshabalala and her ducking and diving and refusal to step down in the face of overwhelming evidence against her, is downright bizarre...
