Sustainable Architecture Award entries close on 20 March
Entries to the 2014 AfriSam-SAIA Award for Sustainable Architecture will close on 20 March 2014. The biennial award recognises achievement in sustainable architecture and the creation of public awareness and debate on architectural issues.
There are two entry categories - one for new built work and the other for works of social importance, including research. Entries are evaluated against a range of criteria including people upliftment, harmonisation, place making performance and evolutionary paradigm.
Saturday 15 March 2014 offers a last chance to catch the special exhibition of 2012's award-winning designs, on show at The Boiler Room, the Neighbourgoods Market, Braamfontein, Johannesburg, open from 9am to 2.30pm.
