New AMASA committee readies for 2012/13 year

At its first group meeting for the 2012/13 year, the new Advertising Media Association of South Africa's (AMASA) committee members were assigned their individual portfolios.

Lyn Jones remains chairperson of the Johannesburg AMASA committee with Lea van Coller as her deputy.

"Our mandate is to aid media education in every way that we can, which is implemented through partner agencies, associations with bodies like the AMF and with the AAA School of Advertising. I'm excited to welcome the new committee on board and look forward to the fresh energy each person will be injecting into their portfolios," comments Jones.
