WPP to buy majority stakes in Ogilvy SA, Mindshare SA

NEWSWATCH: Subject to obtaining regulatory approval, WPP announced today, Thursday, 27 January 2011, that it has agreed to acquire a majority stake in Ogilvy South Africa. Along with its group companies, Ogilvy SA is part of the Ogilvy Worldwide network. WPP is also increasing its stake in Mindshare South Africa, which will form part of the GroupM network of companies within SA.
