Launch of new integrated agency, Derrick
Derrick is a recently opened integrated advertising agency based in Cape Town, founded by award-winning creative directors Livio Tronchin and Mark Stead, and with Myles Hoppé as MD. The trio has also started &Co. Cape Town, a creative consultancy that works with venture capitalists and joint venture startups at inception.
Derrick will provide sustainable marketing solutions, irrespective of medium, for its clients though an open approach and collaborative philosophy. As &Co. Cape Town, the work is done on risk and the fees are performance-based.
Both Tronchin and Stead count hundreds of local and international awards and nominations to their credit, with Gold awards at Cannes, One Show and Clios, as well as four Grand Prix awards at the Loeries (after this year's Loeries, they've added yet another seven awards to their names).
Hoppé was previously brand manager for Joule, SA's first mass-production electric vehicle built by Optimal Energy.
