M&C Saatchi Abel announces first account win

According to Maarten van den Nieuwenhuijsen, Rezidor Group regional director Southern Africa, the fledgling agency will handle his brands for both South Africa and the African continent.

Mike Abel, M&C Saatchi Abel chief executive partner, said he was delighted to have this important hotel and leisure brand at the agency. “We look forward to Rezidor growing into an even mightier force in the region.”

The Rezidor Hotel Group is allegedly one of the fastest growing hotel companies in the world and Radisson Blu is now open in Sandton, Granger Bay, Cape Town and Port Elizabeth.

Four additional accounts

Abel added that the group has already secured four additional accounts and projects that are all in key strategic launch phases. “What is interesting is how key clients with very specific growth objectives are gravitating towards us,” he commented.
