McCann junior art director wins international award
McCann Worldgroup's recently appointed junior art director, Tanya de Lange, won the 2007 Gold WorldMedal Award at last week's New York Festivals International Advertising Awards in the category Design (Collateral/Packaging/Promotional Design). The AAA School of Advertising graduate was one of only five entries to make the honours role from South Africa.

This is an exceptional achievement, according to McCann, since the competition draws only the crème de la crème from all corners of the globe, and the 2007 field of finalists was represented by a total of 59 countries. The competition recognises the world's best creative work in television, cinema, outdoor, design, print, radio, and interactive advertising.
