The Evel Knievel of pizza delivery
Today's consumers want good food, fast, and they want it delivered quickly, while it's still hot and tasty. Thus, the latest Scooters TV commercial, created by Lowe Bull, see a Scooters motorcycle driver, dressed in the signature yellow and red and looking for all the world like the legendary Evel Knievel.
He arrives and, fighter pilot style, a parachute opens up behind him and he skids to a standstill on the road. "The best ads are the ones with a simple, entertaining message," comments Gareth Lessing, executive creative director at Lowe Bull. "This gets the consumer smiling, while getting the message across in a simple, memorable way - Scooters delivers really fast."
The intention is to back up Scooters' promise to consumers that if they deliver in more than 39 minutes, the pizza is free.
