Distell appoints FCB SA (CPT) to handle flagship brand, Amarula Cream

Leading liquor manufacturer and marketer, Distell, has appointed the Cape Town office of FCB South Africa to handle one of its flagship brands, Amarula Cream, with effect from March next year. First launched in 1989, Amarula Cream today dominates the cream liquor market locally and has had resounding success in numerous international markets; it is available in 63 countries worldwide. FCB South Africa (Cape Town) is currently responsible for a wide spectrum of Distell's brands including Klipdrift and Viceroy. It is highly likely, given Distell's through-the-line approach to marketing, that it will utilise all the marketing communication disciplines provided by FCB South Africa (Cape Town) from traditional advertising to promotional campaigns, and from design to one-to-one and customer relationship management.
