Store Manager

Salary: R20,000 basic + commission

Key responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily operations of the Gateway store
• Ensure adherence to company policies and standard operating procedures
• Drive team performance, motivation, and sales targets
• Maintain a high standard of store presentation and customer service
• Lead with discipline, accountability, and strong attention to detail

What we’re looking for:

• We are looking for a serious, committed professional who is ready to lead with excellence. This is not an entry-level or training role.
• Applicants must meet the core requirements listed above to be considered. Please apply only if you have relevant experience managing a large or flagship store.
• Confident enforcing policies, driving performance, and taking initiative without the need for micromanagement.

Requirements:

• Has 5-10 years of retail management experience
• Extremely organised with excellent memory recall
• Strong knowledge of systems and processes, as well as a high level of computer proficiency
• Excellent knowledge of luxury customer service
• Able to identify and action issues proactively, without the need for micromanagement
• Strong leadership with the ability to enforce company policies and procedures
• Deadline-driven, reliable, and solutions-focused
• Able to multitask effectively and remain calm under high-pressure conditions
• Confident managing performance, delegating tasks, and leading by example
