Student Health services at mut.depmtent of Clinic.and i am facilitator of supporty group with they younger weman how are living with HIV&AIDS infection.and am working with community reseach about treatment.
I started working as an HIV& AIDS counsellor at Ithembalabantu peaple hope clinic in 2010-2011. I then stated at MUT as an HIV& AIDS counsellor (Lay counsellor) from 2011 till now and my role is working and commiting my skills in community engadements.my duties are as follows:HIV&AIDS Testing of students and staffmembers.counselling about the virus and its care function in a human body.Arranging of appointment for students and staff into cercumsised.Education my stakeholders about inflenctions and guiding them towards treatment and prevention.Creating awarenes events to students ,staff & community.
what i have done:I have managed and organised 6 events during my stay at MUT and community.and I have appointed to be GCAB member and TES in CAPRISA Durban.since 2012 till now. I have attended an AIDS Clinical Trail Group meeting and conference in D.C Washington where different countries , where selected provintialy to represent our country.
